Garnik Antonyan, who died in the Artsakh war, was drafted into the army on 29 January, 2019.
“He did everything so that his family would not be in trouble, we would not be upset in some issues, and he was always the one who gave us strength, calmed us down. We understood each other by half a word,” Garnik’s brother, Arsen Antonyan said.
The sister says that watching a movie was one of her favorite pastimes with her brother. “We even did our homework together, my childhood was spent with him because the family members worked, he did everything for me,” the sister said.
“Garnik took over the command of the platoon. He was under siege in Martuni for 2.5 days,” his father, Armen Antonyan said.
According to the father, he destroyed about 65 mercenaries. They defended the positions of Martuni.
Garnik Antonyan was born on 19 October, 2000, and died on 1 November, 2020.
