Vahe Asatryan, who died in the Artsakh war, was drafted into the army on 7 July, he was a serviceman for about 2 months, when the war unleashed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh began.
Vahe’s comrade-in-arms said that during the retreat they had a great loss of manpower and military equipment, according to him, 40 out of 120 people survived.

According to his mother, Vahe and his comrades-in-arms found themselves in a blockade, and then went in the wrong direction, carrying the wounded volunteer on their shoulders, they appeared near the village of Karintak, which had already been captured by the enemy, and were killed.
Vahe Asatryan was born on 12 November, 2001 in the village of Geghovit, Gegharkunik region, and died on 11 November, 2020.
