Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has announced the launch of the Horadiz-Aghbend railway in the Varanda (Fizuli) region of Artsakh, which will connect Azerbaijan with Nakhichevan. The statement came from the press service of the President of Azerbaijan.
The length of the new railway line will be 100 km.
Aliyev noted that the railway will play a major role in Azerbaijan’s direct railway communication with the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic.
