The captain of the Armenian national water polo team, Henrik Hakobyan, was killed in the Artsakh war.
Henrik also worked as a coach. “He was already helping me, he was also coaching, everyone loved and respected him and listened to him,” Henrik’s father, the head coach of the Armenian water polo team Gurgen Hakobyan says.
“He always did his best so that everyone would be satisfied with him, and what is even more important he needs to be satisfied of himself. We have not eaten bread without each other and we have always shared a piece of bread together,” Henrik’s friend Alik Martirosyan says.
“There are very few guys like Heno, if I had the opportunity to talk to him, I would just say I’m sorry and thank you,'” his colleague Levon Hovhannisyan says.
