Lieutenant Volodya Mheryan’s mother tells that the family was against his son choosing the military profession. Volodya was secretly from his family members entered Vazgen Sargsyan Military University. “He always said that when I grow up I will become a Sparapet,” Volodya’s mother says.
Volodya dreamed of building a big house so that all his relatives could live together. “Volodya’s nicknamed in the military unit was ‘Rambo’,” Volodya’s uncle says.
“Volodya was a very willing, responsible, patriotic and interesting child. He especially listened to the history lessons with great interest. The older he got, the more obvious his patriotism became. The boy had a traditional Armenian dignity, as they say, see he studied with dignity and fought with dignity,” Volodya Mheryan’s teacher says.
