Moscow urges Turkey to use all its influence in favor of a ceasefire and the start of the actual negotiation process for the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. According to RIA Novosti, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated this.
The Russian Foreign Ministry reminded that after 11 hours of consultations on the night of 10 October, the Foreign Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia and the United States and France agreed on a joint statement calling for a ceasefire and the resumption of a meaningful negotiation process.
“We urge our Turkish counterparts to use their influence to support this line,” Lavrov told the “Athens and Macedonia” news agency.
