The situation with the spread of the coronavirus in the coming months will be very difficult, the head of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said at a briefing on Friday. RIA Novosti reports.
“We are at a critical crossroads for the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the Northern Hemisphere. The next few months will be very difficult, and some countries are on a dangerous trajectory,” Ghebreyesus warned.
As the head of WHO explained, many states are faced with a sharp rise in the incidence, which threatens to soon exhaust the resources of the health care system.
