I express my condolences to Police Colonel Arthur Vanoyan’s family, friends and relatives. Quick recovery to all the wounded. The Law of the RA has been violated and the crime should be punished. The armed group should lay down the weapons and surrender to the law enforcement bodies. The examination and the judicial proceeding should be open and transparent.
Under no reasons the solution of the problem through weapons may be justified. In my opinion there is a point that hasn’t been discussed among us and that is the one that describes the situation from the perspective of Artsakh problem. Trying to look back to the war of 91-93, there is one thing I should mention. The party with unstable situation had lost. Our victories of those days were also the result of the political stability in the RA and Artsakh. From this point of view nothing has changed. The party where the first coup or internal instability occurs shall lose. If it is in Azerbaijan, we shall be the winners. If this happens in Armenia or NKR we shall lose. If we want to win again we must maintain the stability in the RA as well as in Artsakh. To achieve this we need to quickly get out of the crisis. But it should be achieved through the internal reforms of new quality and realistic results, as well as through the systematic changes in Armenia. I understand that is a long way. And all long ways start with first steps.
I believe the first step should be the resolution of the crisis we have found ourselves in. Everything should be achieved through discussions and without bloodshed. The armed group shall surrender to the law enforcement bodies. The examination and the legal procedure should be open and transparent.
I hope everyone has realized the message of the situation, but the more important thing is that it revealed the shortcomings of our system and those should quickly be raised by the second step which should be followed by the third and the further steps. We have no right to lose neither inside of the RA nor in Artsakh.
