The RA Minister of Education and Science Levon Mkrtchyan shall not conduct personnel changes in the staff of the Department. The Minisater told this in the interview with the journalists after the Government session. Mr. Mkrtchyan noted that currently there are employees in the personnel of the Minsitry with whou he had had chance to work previously and that he was not going to carry out large scale changes in the staff. “Ther will be no personnel changes as such. I have worked with the current employees ten years ago, that is to say this is beneficial for the Ministry. The only criterion is professionalism, if they meet it, we shall work,” he said.
We reminded the Minister that Education is one of the spheres included in the anti-corruption strategy, and asked him to tell the steps he was going to undertake. Mr. Mkrtchyan said, “I have been appointed today in the morning, and you want me to say what I am going to do. There are a lot of ideas, it would be more correct to speak definitely. Let’s say in a week or two. I do not know much yet, what has been created there or whether it has been created,” the Minister said.
