Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and his Azerbaijani counterpart Elnur Mammadov discussed the state and prospects of relations between the two countries. They discussed some regional and international issues as well.

“The state and prospects of the Russian-Azerbaijani relations were considered, emphasizing the current issues of the bilateral agenda,” the statement of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

The Ministry noted that during the meeting, the mutual willingness to further strengthen political dialogue, trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation was confirmed, in accordance with the provisions of the declaration on allied cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
