A new military base of Special Operation Forces will be built in Mukhrovani. Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili, stated speaking at the ceremony dedicated to the day of creation of Special Operation Forces.

The Prime Minister noted that the military base will fully meet NATO standards.
“The cost of the project is up to 70 million GEL. In the first phase, the headquarters building, the barracks, the canteen, the medical facility, the parking lot and various buildings will be built. In the second phase, the construction of educational, sports and recreation areas and the improvement of the area are planned.
The completion of the construction is planned in 2 years,” the Georgian Government said in a statement.
