Grigor Davtyan was killed in the Artsakh war. Grigor was a large-caliber machine gunner who was drafted into the army on 18 January, 2019.
“He was full of patriotism from an early age. He was 14 years old when he joined a group of young Yerkrapahs. He respected the military uniform, wore it and walked up and down the house. He said, “Dear Mama, the boy must serve. I have to train so that it will not be difficult for me in the army,” Grigor’s mother, Susanna Davtyan says.
“Grigor was full of life, he planted a lot of plants, trees and flowers, now we take to him the flowers he planted,” the soldier’s cousin says.
Grigor told his friends that as soon as he got home he would get engaged. He had already invited his friends. They were preparing for a big wedding.
“My child remained faithful to her oath, he said that if necessary, I will defend homeland at the cost of my life,” the mother says.
Grigor Davtyan was born on 15 July, 2000 and died on 15 October.
