Drugs-related legal field needs a permanent settlement. Attorney Samvel Jaghinyan believes the acquisition methods and types of drugs have increased. In contrast the legal field does not develop. “The technology evolves, new types of drugs emerge, for instance, two remedies are free for sale, one can mix one with another and get drug. A problem arises, the legislation should be able to stand in front of those things, but it fails to do so. It is the task of the criminal law”.-said Mr. Jaghinyan.
According to him, it is necessary to create ways to eliminate gaps in the legislative field and the sooner the better. “Quite long-range people may fall under its influence, before the appearing of those influence methods. This is a serious problem, which is still not settled”-said the attorney.
However, he told that currently the distribution of the drug has not reached dangerous levels in Armenia.
