In advocate Norayr Norikyan’s opinion the Investigative Committee is still in the development stage, although, according to him, some rooted mores are subject to change.
“I am displeased with the manner of work of individual investigators of the Investigative Committee. Unfortunately, some investigators, are identified Assistant Prosecutor. Instead of implementing their mission to gather evidences to ensure general, objective, comprehensive and complete investigation, they have undertaken the status of collectors of the evidence of incriminating nature for the prosecution. This undermines the idea of implementation of objective examination, “said the advocate.
According to the advocate such problems existed in the past as well. “Let’s admit that it’s the psychology of thinking-related factor, and cannot be corrected immediately after the name change or separation of departments. After all, people are realizing it. We need time, or new personnel, to be able to change mode of thinking and attitude of this structure. I would like to see the structure more courageous and unconstrained.
