The Press Service of NKR Defense Army informs that in the period of 17 – 19 January, the enemy violated the ceasefire regime on the contact line of NKR and Azerbaijanian troops around 400 times. During that period the enemy made around 4557 shots towards the Armenian frontier troops from weapons of different calibers. In addition to small arms the enemy also used mortars, grenade launchers, sniper rifles and machine guns. The Defense Army adequately responded to the adversary’s actions and continues to confidently carry out their duty.
Formerly Iravaban.net informed that on 17 January, the Azerbaijanian sniper had killed soldier Arman Harutyunyan in the village Voskepar of Tavush marz.
