On 23 December at 17:45, the officers of “Artik” Penitentiary found 4 cell phones in the bag of the advocate who visited the prisoner Artyom Pogosyan. They found packages with suspicious masses in the phone chargers. Sona Truzyan, Advisor to the Chair of the Investigative Committee told this to Iravaban.net.
“The advocate said that an unknown person had given the chargers to pass to the prisoner,” Ms Truzyan said and added, “on the same day one charger of the mobile phone was found in the women’s toilet of “Artik” Penitentiary, where 3 packages with suspicious masses were found as well. The advocate insisted that she had thrown those there.”
According to the Advisor to the Chair of the Investigative Committee, materials on the case are being prepared. A forensic Chemical examination has been appointed. No conclusion is provided yet.
Sona Truzyan said that the advocates name is not publicized until all the circumstances are disclosed.
