Ani B., resident of Vanadzor city reported that on 11November, 2014 she was brought by the police to Taron Police Department. There the officials applied psychological pressure upon her, humiliated her dignity, mocked at her and inflicted personal insults. As a result, she provided false testimony that she had distributed via internet pornographic materials on other persons. A few days later she made an attempt of suicide.
A criminal case in accordance with Part 3 of Article 309 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia was initiated based on the materials prepared in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia according to Ani B.’s report.
Preliminary investigation is in process. The Special Investigation Service of RA informs.
