Davit Khachatryan, accused of Lyuks Stepanyan`s murder has not yet broke the sewings of his mouth.
The RA Ministry of Justice Penitentiary Department`s Public relations division head Gor Ghlechyan informed Iravaban.net that the condition of the detainee is stable. “He is under medical supervision. His wounds are being cared. Psychologists continue working with him so that he stops the hunger strike”.
Though psychologists have been working with the defendant since 8 May, no positive results have been achieved so far. Davit Khachatryan demands to be judged for what he did and not for what he didn`t.
For that reason on the same day he applied to the RA President Serzh Sargsyan, to the Court of general jurisidiction of Tavush region, Human Rights Protector, RA General Prosecutor.
Let us remind that Davit Khachatryan announced a hunger strike after the prosecutor requested to convict him to 18-year imprisonment.
