The Armenian side cannot approach the Helicopter “MI-24”, which was shot down by the Azerbaijanian armed forces on12 November on the airspace of the eastern part of the borderline of NKR and Azerbaijan. Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Pres Secretary of the RA Defense Ministry informed to Iravaban.net. He mentioned that the Azerbaijani side keeps the mentioned section under the intensive fire.
According to Mr., Hovhannisyan, the only way to approach the helicopter is the attack. However the Armenian side tries to solve the problem peacefully. “Just at this moment negotiations are going on through the Red Cross, but there are no results yet,” Mr. Hovhannisyan said.
For information: according to the data provided by the NKR Defense Army on 12 November at around 13:45, the Azerbaijani side in violation of the ceasefire regime, shot down the Helicopter “MI-24” of NKR Air Forces, which was conducting a training flight. The Helicopter fell down quite close to the line of contact. According to preliminary information three pilots died.
