Today the opening of the new office of the Notary Chamber took place. Hereinafter the Chamber of Marriage will also act in the same building. President of the National Assembly Galust Sahakyan, President of the RA Court of Cassation Arman Mkrtumyan, RA Minister of Justice Hovhannes Manukyan, members of the Government and the National Assembly were present at today`s opening ceremony.
In his speech the Minister of Justice expressed his belief that the opening of the new office will contribute to the effective implementation of the issues put forward for the Chamber.
“With great satisfaction I record today the fact that we returned the Chamber of Marriage to the citizens of Yerevan. Though with its splendor it can`t be compared to the Chamber of Marriage of the Youth Palace, the famous “Kukuruznik” the image of which we keep in our memories, but this is the first step towards having properly furnished halls of marriages in the Registry Offices of the Republic”, said the Minister.
