The RA General Prosecutor`s Office informs that the Republic of Armenia will be involved as a third party in the case Perincek v. Switzerland, App. no. 27510/08. The request to be involved as a third party in the case of Pericek v. Switzerland was filed to the ECHR by the RA General Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan – RA Governmental plenipotentiary representative at the European Court of Human Rights. The Grand Chamber of the ECHR confirmed today the possibility of Armenia`s participation. The session is scheduled for 28 January 2015. Armenian party will present to the ECHR its position in a written form by then, and at the session of January 28 will have the opportunity to make an oral presentation.

The case Pericek v. Switzerland also involves Turkey as a third party.
