Today Armenia’s State Register of Legal Entities of the Ministry of Justice celebrates its 20th anniversary. Tsovinar Khachatryan, the Head of Information and Public Relations Department of the Justice Ministry informed Iravaban.net that 37 employees of the department were awarded on the order of the Justice Minister.
According to information of the Agency State Register of Legal Entities today the registration of the organization takes 15-20 minutes. Registration of the individual entrepreneur takes up to 5 minutes.
All state bodies that applied to the State Register are provided a password, which enables the registered entities and individuals to have access t the database and retrieve the necessary information instead of the former 5 days process when they had to apply in written form and wait for the written answer.
Currently the new Draft Law on Non-Governmental Organizations is being elaborated, which will enable to make changes and amendments to a number of laws that regulate the sphere. Adoption of the mentioned changes and amendment will provide opportunity to the State Register to further improve its operations, reduce the terms for registration of Non Governmental Organizations, submit the necessary registration documents electronically on any office of the Agency all over Armenia.
Currently 72.000 organizations are registered at the State register, of which 92.000 individual entrepreneurs and 3903 NGOs.
