Children Often Face Bullying Within the Family, Which is Rarely Spoken About: Bullying and Its Consequences According to an Expert

Within the current legislative framework, there are uncertainties regarding the concept of bullying, which creates certain issues and risks in the context of expert assessment.

Although the culture of talking about bullying has become more acceptable, there are cases when parents prefer to remain silent and not speak up about existing problems.

Ani Vardanyan, head of the Forensic Psychology Examinations Department at the Expert Center, told Iravaban.net that children often become victims of bullying in the family, kindergarten, and school.

“We have a very negative tendency where, when there is such dynamics of violence in the family, and within the framework of appropriate legal regulations there are all grounds for the child to be transferred to a support center, but the latter is subjected to more pronounced bullying in such centers, where we also have a wide field of development in terms of specialized services, scientific, science-based and practice-hardened choices to form, so that it really works,” she said.

The Expert Center also plays a major role in providing assistance to children with such problems and identifying existing issues through expert research.
