On 16 April , the graduation ceremony of the courses on “Blockchain and “Artificial Intelligence” and announcing the world’s first educational program providing a bachelor’s degree in “Blockchain and Web3 technologies” took place at the Polytechnic with the participation of the “National Polytechnic University of Armenia” Foundation, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the “Web3” Foundation.

At the beginning of the event, certificates were handed to the students who successfully completed the course.

To the question, how important is this course and what problem did it solve, Mr. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, Minister of High Tech Industry of the Republic Of Armenia, said that the course was successfully completed. “The course was effectively organized Especially in the context of teaching Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain technologies.” This was one of the best manifestations of the public-university-private tripartite cooperation format, and a success story in this format.”

According to the Rector of “National Polytechnic University of Armenia” Mr. Gor Vardanyan, 60 free and paid places are defined in the bachelor’s program. “The admission is planned from September, the admission of documents has already started through the website dimord.am, where students can register as in other educational programs.”

Mr. Artyom Harutyunyan, co-founder of Web3 Armenia Foundation, noted that the course starts like a bachelor’s degree at the Polytechnic. “The necessary subjects will be taught by the lecturers of the Polytechnic, and then they will go through deep programming in order to become a “Web3” and “Blockchain” programmer. First, it is necessary to become a programmer.”
