My Son is proud of me: A Few Hours with Senior Sergeant of Police Lilit Grigoryan

“I learned about the admission from my friends. I did not take steps in that direction for some time, but then I decided to apply, I was one of the first applicants,” Senior Sergeant,  of Police,

Junior Patrol Servant of the Second Company of the First Battalion of Yerevan Regiment of the Patrol Service Senior Sergeant of Police Lilit Grigoryan said within the framework of the special project “Police Armenian Women” of Iravaban.net.

“After passing successfully the three-stage exams, I joined the external service on 7 July, 2021. It was quite difficult for someone coming from civilian life, especially since you are a female officer. In general, I had no idea where I was coming, what I was coming for, but little by little, over time, thanks to our skilled colleagues, we tried to bring every problem to the level that now we almost do not have these problems,” she said.

According to her, she is a police officer in civilian life as well.

“The day begins at 04:30. We are at the place of service at 06:00. The shift is from 07:00 in the morning to 20:00 in the evening. We register various types of violations,” Lilit said.

The police patrol officer mentioned that people generally do not want to perceive the violation they have committed and that is a problem.

“We have difficult citizens, after explanation work, they admit their violation, it is recorded and we say, ‘have a good trip’. There are difficulties in every job. If we look at the difficulties, we will never achieve anything. We need to look ahead, set a goal and achieve it,” Senior Sergeant Grigoryan said.
