Turkey is conducting preparatory work on the gas hub project, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced. RIA Novosti writes.
“As you know, Mr. Putin proposed that we create a gas hub in Turkey to distribute gas to Europe. Now we are preparing for it,” the head of state said.
In October, Vladimir Putin proposed to create a gas hub in Turkey. According to him, this will make it possible to replenish the lost volume of pumping through the “North Stream”. As the president emphasized, such a decision is economically feasible, and the level of security will be much higher.
