The Resolution of the French Senate reaffirms the need to recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic: Ruben Vardanyan

Minister of State of Artsakh Republic Ruben Vardanyan thanked the French Senate deputies for adopting the important Resolution for the Republics of Armenia and Artsakh.

“Special thanks to Senators Bruno Ratayo, Christian Cambon, Éliane Assassi, Patrick Kanner, Hervé Marseille  and Gilbert-Luc Devinaz for introducing the resolution.

The resolution contains very important formulations for us from the point of view of subjectivity of Artsakh. The document reaffirms the need to recognize the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic and use that recognition as a tool in negotiations to establish a lasting peace. The resolution also emphasizes that Azerbaijan’s repeated aggressive actions against Artsakh threaten the security and freedom of Artsakh Armenians.

These are the points that are important for the future of Artsakh and Artsakh Armenians. The just struggle of Artsakh Armenians for a safe and dignified life in their homeland will one day reach its goal, thanks to the determination of the Armenian people and the support of our friends,” Vardanyan wrote.
