The former Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan assumed the position on 23 September, 2018, holding it until 12 December, 2021.

As of the day of assuming the post of mayor, Hayk Marutyan had declared 21 real estates, all of which were bought on joint property right in the period of 2006-2018. 4 of them are in Armenia, in Yerevan, 17 in the Czech Republic, in Prague. (infographic at the end).

- 25,000 AMD – acquired in 2006, “Hayko & Mko Kargin” LLC / 50%,
- In the amount of 7500 AMD – acquired in 2004, “Kargin Studio” LLC / 15%.
His funds amounted to:

His income was ․

- AMD 1,779,800 received from royalty and author’s remuneration,
- AMD 1,000,000 received from other income
- CZK 1,003,500 from rent from 6 sources.
In the annual declaration of 2018, Hayk Marutyan mentioned that he had acquired 3 of the real estates:
- apartment in a multi-apartment residential building worth CZK 4,200,000,
- land worth CZK 100,000,
- Non-residential area of an apartment building worth CZK 100,000.
That year he lent AMD 1,000,000 and got the same amount back.
Only the Czech koruna had decreased from Marutyan’s funds. At the beginning of the year it made CZK 4,520,000, at the end of the year – CZK 934,000.
Revenues amounted to AMD 11,003,854 and CZK 1,338,000.
According to the 2019 annual declaration, he alienated a Nissan Tiida car for 1 million drams. The funds remained the same; the income amounted to 10,779,854 drams from salaries, royalties and CZK 1,003,500 from rent.
Hayk Marutyan, who was the mayor of Yerevan in 2020, bought another co-owned parking lot in the Czech Republic, Prague, with CZK 290,000.

On 18 February, 2022, Hayk Marutyan submitted his declaration on income and revenues as pf the date of resignation (22.12.21).
It is clear from the declaration that in 2021 Marutyan bought 3 more units of real estate with joint ownership right in the Czech Republic.

In 2021, he took a loan of CZK 2,889,954 to buy a mortgaged apartment in the Czech Republic.
He also declared the expenses incurred:
Hayk Marutyan has 4 children: 2 daughters and 2 sons: The children and his wife are citizens of the Czech Republic.
In 2018 , Marutyan ‘s wife, Iva Marutyan, declared CZK 12,800,000, EUR 235,000, USD 73,000 dollars. Her income was AMD 70,000, which was received from salary.
In 2019, she declared a jointly owned residential house in the Czech Republic, 2 plots of land.
She declared:

In 2021, when Hayk Marutyan resigned as Mayor of Yerevan, Iva Marutyan declared real estate, all of which are in the Czech Republic․
