The ruling faction has stopped representing the interests of the residents of Yerevan: Grigor Yeritsyan

In February of this year, the faction, by sabotaging the session of the Council of Elders, by not providing a quorum, tried to thwart the process of purchasing 211 new buses launched by the Mayor. Former member of the Yerevan Council of Elders Grigor Yeritsyan wrote on his Facebook page.

It has been a long time since the ruling faction of the Yerevan Council of Elders stopped representing the interests of the people of Yerevan and is guided by narrow party interests.

In February of this year, the faction, by sabotaging the session of the Council of Elders, by not providing a quorum, tried to thwart the process of purchasing 211 new buses launched by the Mayor.

However, due to the great efforts of the Mayor and several members of the Council of Elders, the meeting took place and the decision was made. When the buses started arriving in Yerevan, the participants of the sabotage tried to attribute this purchase to the ruling faction.

The short-sighted failed attempt of this sabotage deepened the crisis between the Mayor and the ruling faction.
