It is excluded that there is an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the corridor: Arayik Harutyunyan

I see my future, the future of my children, and the future of my relatives in Artsakh. We have no desire to move anywhere, we do not intend to. Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan stated this during a meeting with young people in Artsakh.

“We will continue the negotiation process on the territorial integrity of Artsakh, the peaceful struggle. We must avoid war, of course with dignity. That is why the peace agenda must be a dignified peace agenda.

The negotiation process continues, there is no change in the agenda, the right of nations to self-determination remains as a basic point. Our struggle will be within its framework, that is, the right to self-determination is the main negotiating direction for us. I see the future of Artsakh through self-determination,” he said.

Referring to the Lachin corridor, he said. “It is excluded that there is an Azerbaijani checkpoint in the corridor. There is a stated a corridor, and if there is a checkpoint, it is not a corridor, it is a controlled road. There is no such thing.”
