On 12 September, 2021, the RA Chamber of Advocates elected the Chairman of the RA Chamber of Advocates.
1111 lawyers took part in the voting.
According to the results of the voting, 937 lawyers voted for Simon Babayan, and 144 lawyers voted for Gevorg Gyozalyan. 30 ballots were declared invalid.
By the decision of the Counting Commission of the RA Chamber of Advocates on 12.09.2021, Simon Albert Babayan was considered elected Chairman of the RA Chamber of Advocates for a term of four years with 937 votes in favor from a total of 1111 advocates (84.3%) that participated in the voting.
The term of office of the new Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia will start on 5 October, 2021.
The current Chairman of the Chamber Ara Zohrabyan reports Simon Babayan was elected Chairman of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia with 84.3% (937) votes in favor from a total of 1111 advocates (84.3%) that participated in the voting.. He will take office on 5 October, 2021.

The lawyers chose the direction of preserving and developing the independence, unity, achievements.
The lawyers rejected the way of destroying, creating chaos and gossip.
