On 10 August, 2000, when Azat Ghazaryan was born, the doctors and parents did not hope that the child would live, but he struggled and lived.
Azat struggled during the war, unfortunately he died.
The soldier’s mother, Manya Kostandyan, says that her son had a very active childhood, participated in various competitions, Olympiads, painted, worked as a designer, and played the guitar.
“He came from class, and then he had students, he taught at home. I was saying, you are tired, your brain is overloaded ․․․ He said, “Mom, if I can create and work, why do I have to ask for money from you?” There was not any holiday, an occasion that he did not take into account. He even understood from the tone of my voice whether I am sad, or I am happy. In his honor, I received a diploma at school every year, as the best parent,” the mother says.
Azat’s uncle’s wife Hasmik Vardazaryan was his teacher at school. Ms. Hasmik says that Azat never abused that circumstance and behaved like an exemplary student. “He studied well, he was very accommodating. He had so many dreams, ․․․ so many things remained unfulfilled. And this country, our Armenia, lost doctors, engineers, artists, it lost a lot, because there was so much love and life among those children,” she says.
Teachers and classmates talk about Azat with longing and great love, tell how they organized their Last Bell cermony.
Manya Kostandyan mentions that when she last talked to her son, he told her not to worry, he would not call for two days․ “He said I would not be able to talk, I would not have a phone, but he told his brother that they were going to a hot battle, so that suddenly something would happen, they would know where to look for him. The operation was over, he was coming back, he was sitting on the tank, theы drove by direction so that they would not turn on the light, they would not be noticed and at that moment the UAV hit.”
Azat Ghazaryan died.
