Anna Hakobyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Economy

Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a new appointment today, on 20 May.

“Pursuant to Article 9, Part 1 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia” On Public Service”, to
appoint Anna Hakobyan Deputy Minister of Economy,” the decision reads.

It should be reminded that the Ministry of Economy has clarified the appointment of the RA Deputy Minister of Economy Anna Hakobyan, which we present below.

“Please be informed that by the decision 547-A of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia of 20 May, 2021, Anna Hakobyan has been appointed Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia.

The information disseminated in the press that the newly appointed Deputy Minister Anna Hakobyan is the spouse of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan does not correspond to reality.

Below we present some biographical data of Anna Hakobyan:

  1. Hakobyan was born in Gyumri on 30 May 1980.

In 1994 she graduated from high school in Gyumri, then in 1998 graduated from high school in Apeldoorn (Netherlands).

She received his higher education in Europe, specializing in political science, international relations, and business.
