According to the information received on the cases of violation of the upcoming Yerevan Council of Aldermen Elections, the RA Police discussed 9 cases, of which one refers to bribery, 5 cases to hindering the process of the election campaign, 2 cases on beating and strife, 1 case of hindering the journalist’s work.
The information service of the Police informs that 2 materials referring the mentioned cases were prepared for examination; two cases were left without consideration after providing the opinion on their groundless character; 2 decisions on refusal to initiate criminal cases based on the fact of the absence of corpus delicti; two criminal cases were initiated; and 3 cases are in process.
