French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian has called for a dialogue between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s supporters and the opposition to defend democracy.
“France is in favor of establishing a dialogue in the country, based on the legitimacy of the President and the Prime Minister, to ensure a calmer situation in a country that has gone through difficult times,” Le Drian told at a briefing with Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba.
“Democracy in Armenia must be resisted,” French Foreign Minister said.
