During a conversation with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke in favor of resolving the situation in the country within the framework of the law, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. RIA Novosti reported.

“If you carefully watched the text that was published by us, then you probably had the opportunity to read the phrase there that the President of Russia spoke out there in favor of resolving the problem within the framework of the law. This is very important. We gave a fairly complete formulation, which is very informative,” Peskov told reporters, answering the question about the discrepancy between the wording in the messages of the Russian and Armenian sides.

It should be reminded that according to the Armenian side, “President Putin expressed support for the legitimate authorities of Armenia,” however such a phrase does not exist in the statement of the Russian side.

It should be reminded that Russian President Vladimir Putin and RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan discussed the situation in the republic by phone the previous day.
