“We moved from Russia to Armenia for Zhora to serve in the Army. On 11 July, 2019, he was drafted to the army in a very high mood,” Gayane Hakobyan, the mother of Zhora Martirosyan, who died in the Artsakh war said.
“I knew that no matter what will happen, no matter how difficult it is, he would come out of the situation with honor,” the mother said.
On 27 September, 2020, Zhora Martirosyan was Russia and took part in a tank exercise. They returned home on 2 October.
“We thought that the war would definitely end before Zhora returned to Armenia, because I did not think that things could develop so much,” his sister Sona Martirosyan told.
“They three, were very close friends Sako, Misak and Zhora. Sako lived with his mother and grandmother. His friends did not want to take him to the front line, but they could not hold Sako back. Misak and Zhora got in the car and the three of them went and died together,” the mother said.
