“I taught him from an early age to be independent, to always have the courage, that’s how he grew up,” Gohar Babayan, the mother of Garik Avetisyan, who was perished in the Artsakh war says.

“Just during the first mobilization, he and his friends decided that they should go first, ‘Mom, I have to go the first and return the first,’ he said,” his mother tells.

Garik Avetisyan died on 17 October in Mataghis, he was born on 2 April, 2001.
