“An important change in the region. Today, Saudi Arabia ends the land and air blockade of the State of Qatar. It is expected that today, the crisis between Qatar and other Gulf countries, which started in 2017, can be resolved during the meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council.
The crisis that started can be solved. It is not yet known whether the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt that took part in the blockade will also follow the example of Saudi Arabia.
In any case, this is a possible change. Qatar is Turkey’s main ally in the Middle East. It is not accidental that the Saudis regularly speak about the need to unite the Gulf countries against a common enemy (first of all Turkey, partly Iran).
