It is clear to the independent researcher why there is not. The number of scientists has decreased eight times in the last thirty years. In terms of quality, I will not say how much it has decreased.

Now the question is, what intellectuals should speak? If in the late 80’s there were world-famous scientists on the platform, now they are just media figures.

The first step on the way to becoming a ‘failed state’ was the elimination of scientists. Whoever comes to power must do everything to make Armenia a knowledge-based country again. This is how Armenia won the first Artsakh war. And Armenia, with its tourist and service economy, lost in the second.

P.S. At this very moment, the government wants to pass a new law on higher education and science, which will result in a further reduction in the number of scientists, further encouragement of plagiarism, and even more politicization of universities.”
