In connection with the provocative hostilities undertaken by Azerbaijan in the direction of the North-Eastern border of the Republic of Armenia, the RA NA President Ararat Mirzoyan sent letters to the President of the European Parliament David Sassoli, PACE President Hendrik Dams and OSCE PA President Georgy Tsereteli.
In his letter, Ararat Mirzoyan noted that these actions are a continuation of Azerbaijan’s unacceptable belligerent rhetoric, seriously violate the basic principles of international law, as well as directly contradict the UN Secretary General’s calls to refrain from hostilities in all parts of the world.
“Unacceptable actions of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are supported by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, which creates additional tension, endangers regional security and stability,” the RA NA Speaker’s letters reads.
