The Shengavit residence of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Yerevan continues to examine the motion to detain Gagik Tsarukyan, a member of the National Assembly, as a measure of restraint. The sitting is chaired by Judge Robert Papoyan.
Abraham Manukyan, a former MP of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP), and his lawyer, Hrant Ananyan, have recently left the court.
“The investigation was postponed because the materials are large-scaled. He was arrested, the court yesterday declared the arrest illegal. Today, he voluntarily came to the examination of the motion for arrest. The sitting was appointed tomorrow at 17:00,” Hrant Ananyan said, noting that Abraham Manukyan does not accept the accusation against him.
