The police forcibly removed Gagik Tsarukyan’s supporters, who were holding a sit-in strike, who were protesting near the building of the National Security Service. Among them were the deputies of the NA “Prosperous Armenia” faction.

MP Naira Zohrabyan told reporters that during her years working for “Haykakan Zhamanak” newspaper, they used this method to protect their editor Nikol Pashinyan from Robert Kocharyan’s regime when they were holding rallies in front of the Presidential Palace.

“You can deprive all of us of immunity in the National Assembly, we understood that you can initiate a criminal case against all of us, even those who think it is surreal and futuristic that they can initiate a criminal case. It will not be and it will not work. We will stay here until we establish a dictatorship of law and legality in our country,” Naira Zohrabyan said.
