Former member of the Yerevan Council of the Elders Sona Aghekyan announced on her Facebook page that she was infected with coronavirus.

“”Happiness” knocked on my door. I have got the Coronavirus,” she wrote.

Notably, Aghekyan has recently made statements that the coronavirus is a myth, urging people not to listen to the authorities, not to wear masks.
