The National Security Service of the RA accused Vardan Sedrakyan for ordering an assassination attempt against the leader of “Union of National Self-Determination”, Political Party Paruyr Hayrikyan. He was charged on March 5 under Article 34-305 of the RA Criminal Code.
The press service of the National Security Service of the RA informs that the body implementing the proceeding has filed a petition to the Court with request to establish arrest as a restraint against him. Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron Nork-Marash Administrative District of Yerevan satisfied the motion. Arrest for the term of 2 months was set as a restraint against Vardan Sedrakyan.
Vardan Sedrakyan is filed an indictment for ordering an assassination attempt against Paruyr Hayrikyan.
The prejudicial inquiry is in process.
