The draft law “Confiscation of Property of Illicit Origin” is being discussed in the National Assembly today, 15 April, in the second reading. The Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan presented it to the members of the legislature.
It should be noted that this law regulates the relations related to the confiscation of illicitly originated property, establishes the grounds for initiating an investigation, the rules of international cooperation in connection with the confiscation of property of illicit origin, as well as other relations related to the confiscation of property of illicit origin.
The Minister also presented the changes made during the transition from the first to the second reading.
