As of 6 April, there are 6 policemen infected with coronavirus in Armenia, 16 law enforcement officers are isolated. Deputy Chief of Police Hayk Mhryan stated this at a press conference in the Government building.

The Deputy Chief of Police informed that 170 police officers serve in the places of isolation of citizens every day.

“The economic activity of 2164 objects has been stopped by the police, a protocol of administrative violation has been drawn up against 36. As of 6 April, 6667 protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up, of which 1735 were decisions on administrative liability. From 2888 private vehicles, the  third and more passengers were asked to leave the car, and a protocols were drawn up against 69 drivers carrying out passenger transportation. The entry of 3007 vehicles from one administrative area to another has been banned,” he said.

The Deputy Chief of Police also informed that there is a decrease in crimes in the country, the police and the Ministry of Emergency Situations are following up as much as possible so that there are no human gatherings in the yards.
