Ararat Regional Administration reports on donations to fight coronavirus

The Ararat Marz Administration presented a report on the donations received in Ararat Marz.

“Since 16 March, 2020, various social groups (food and non-food products) have been assisted in various communities in Ararat marz to date.

Thus:

“Mission Armenia” Charitable Organization provided to 13 socially vulnerable families in Ararat city, flour, chicken, sausage, rice, buckwheat, pasta, sugar, lentils, vegetable oil, condensed milk, canned meat, potatoes. Funding was provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and the Open Society Foundations.

A total of 197 liters of alcohol has been distributed to 197 families in Ararat by businessman Arayik Grigoryan to fight coronavirus.

“Mission Armenia” Charitable Organization’s Artashat Community Center in cooperation with the Artashat Municipality has provided food packages to 111 Artashat beneficiaries with funding from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs and the Open Society Foundations. The packages included flour, sugar, potatoes, onions, canned meat, sausage, condensed milk, pasta, lentils, rice and so on. The packages were distributed through the transport provided by the municipality with the help of volunteers registered with them.

Masis municipality has received from Masis resident Vardan Tsolakyan butter, flour, oil, milk, juice, corn, peas, tomato, oil, salt, paper, napkins, wet napkins, alcogel, yeast, rice, round rice canned meat, cucumbers. The packages were distributed to 70 beneficiaries, with only 30 people remaining.
