Last year in August Sergey Baghdasaryan kidnapped two persons, Ani and Armine, from the area near to the “Nairi” Cinema, by using violence. The criminal case was initiated, which was sent to the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork-Marash Administrative districts of Yerevan. The presiding judge is Gagik Poghosyan.
Sergey Baghdasaryan was taken in custody as a measure of restraint.
Today during the first court hearing the trial judge Gagik Poghosyan established that the prosecutor had no proper power of attorney. The court hearing was delayed. The next court hearing will be held in 12 February, at 12:00.
