The Court of General Jurisdiction of Avan and Nor-Nork administrative districts is considering the criminal case brought against V. Khachaturyan, who is accused of the attempt to force his mother V. Janjughazyan to sexual intercourse. On May 2011, at 24:00, the accused, being drunk, entered the bedroom of their apartment completely nude and threaten his mother with the kitchen knife demanding to have a sex with him.

V. Khachaturyan tore up her nightwear and tried to rape her, but the crime was not finished for reasons beyond his control. Her mother persuaded him to leave the room for a moment and turned to escape.

Note: Everyone charged with a criminal offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty by the court verdict lawfully entered into force as prescribed by Criminal Procedure Code.
